What's next on the agenda? Let's pull out a hilarious fan fiction written by a 8 yr old. I hope to have this done later this month or early december. We'll see. I'm pretty lazy.
I ever tell you 'bout the time I made a l4d parody? Well it was like wayyyy over due fer me to go n' make somethin' new so I did. I love this game, so I thought I'd start with it as far as what should be first on the list. I have a few ideas jumpin' round in ma head so does that mean there's more t'come?
Circuit Skirmish 3? No. Not yet. Sorry, y'all.
Been busy. Really busy. I work in the morning...come home late afternoon, loiter around for an hour or three, and then go back to work on my PC and help a startup company. Fortunately that job is art-related so it's all good there (building 3d car internals is fun!)...but I need some time and motivation for personal projects. I should clear the cobwebs off of my NG account. Seriously. It's buggin' me that I'm not active here much anymore, fellers. A strange jealousy runs through my veins!
Hey all! Where did I go? Kind of a blur. I was working on a few personal projects when I got sucked into this startup company and helped them out doing a *SECRET* project for the last 6-7 months ontop of working a second pt job. So I pretty much had no time/motivation to do my custom stuff. But now that I'm practically finished with my part of the *SECRET* project, what does that mean? MORE NEW STUFF ON NG!? At this point I'd hope so...I see a lot of cobwebs on my userpage and website.
I have been neglecting my 2d skills a lot lately in favor of 3d, but I feel the need to do something 2d in the near future or I'll have to commit suicide. So my plan right now is to finish this "Bean with Bacon Megarocket" Commander Keen tribute you see below, and then I plan on doing a short 2d skit. Unfortunately it won't be Circuit Skirmish related, but I do see that being done in the future once I sort a few things out-- like figuring out if I should go back to school or not. Anyone got some opinions/advice on that?
Life seems to be hard for everyone lately, so I urge you to sit back and take it easy once in a while. Your chances of spontaneous combustion lower drastically.
My mouth opened wide and my face had gone pale. A box from the NG Store just arrived in the mail!
I opened it up and the tablet has arrived! YES! And some fantastic little stickers from NG which a few are now hanging around my room. I opened the box up and took this sleek thing out. After installing the software and plugging it in, I was impressed.
The overall area and design are perfect for drawing and editing in photoshop and flash. The pressure aspects on this thing are better than any previous one I've tried out (I borrowed an Intuos3 a while back, but this one's MUCH more ergonomic). The pen is light and feels like your average marker, so adaption is not needed at all compared to the bulky rubber-gripped pens that are usually supplied with other brands. The buttons are located on the top so your hand won't run into them constantly. So if you want to get one, get this one! It's fantastic! And not as expensive compared to the default ones out there that cost around $350+ so put this one on your list! I feel like my friend got ripped off with his intuos3! Bwahaha--wait...why am I writing a review?
Special thanks goes out to Tom for this thing! I'm definately going to put it to good use with the next animation I'm planning. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I wonder how well this thing would operate playing TF2...
This post was originally for opinions on CS2, but now it's out! So if you'd like to comment, go right ahead! I'll read 'em.
Here's a few quick snapshots I took of a few scenes.
