I've been drawing ever since I can remember, done every art subject I ever could at school, and studying animation in design next year, for year 12.
I've rung many places about animation careers, and had work experience with a few companies. I'll be studying animation studies at Uni, and would really want to get a career in the animation industry.
But not programming. I hate programming, hehe.
Yeah, more than just a hobby for me :P

Pixel art is definitely not my thing, lol. Don't have the patience.
Bah. Programming is a major headache for me too. You miss one letter or number and the whole thing won't work. It's a patience I can't hold for long. That's great that you're going into animation though! Just make sure your portfolio is designed towards what employers need. And NETWORK YASELF LIKE HELL! It's a hard field to find a job in lately. Atleast in the US.
As for the tf2 gif, I can't remember where I found it. Maybe the TF2 steam forum?

I'm going into two graphic design classes this year, so I can get better at my flash/drawing skills. I can draw stuff well, and I know how to do flash, but I'm bad at drawing people, and I need to learn actionscipt. How about you?
